KOTA KINABALU: PARA GLIDER

Between KK and Kuching, I would prefer KK. KK is part of a seaport. Seeing an ocean is a sort of relief feeling. Seafood is cheap unless you are not cheated. Just behind the Pasar Filipina, you can eat the ikan bakar, udang bakar, sotong bakar at a very cheap price. RM33.00 was what I paid for that with my friends. The big lobster is only RM6.00 each. You cant find that in other parts of the world except in KK. Unfortunately the area is kind of dirty to normal standard.

The next day, we went to the island right in front of KK. Boarded the boat from Jeselton Jetty and it takes merely 15 minutes to reach to one of the islands. Went for snorkling and that was my first time. Enjoyed like nobody business. Scenary was fantastic. Very picturesque. However, cant find much fishes and corals.

Foodstuff is expensive, normal at all tourist centres in Malaysia, but being orang Melayu, I brought some bekalan lah. I brought kacang, kuih-kuih and even mineral waters. Spent half day there and came back to KK. Tips of the day, you must remember which boat you used to come, and you must use the same boat back.

Hotel in KK......walllaaa very expensive lahhhh. Small tiny room just enough for a single bed is RM98.00. Next time I will sleep in the open. I saw many homeless people sleep in the market. Why cant I...as long as it doesnt rain.

I will definately go to KK [Kota Kinabalu] again and again and again. Firefly is very cheap too.
