Yesterday I went to an area that is about to be an excited place for a by election happenings in the country. It is scheduled on the 30th Jan 2011. Moved from KL around 9.00 pm and reaches there close to 2.00 am. Why? Because spent some times sleeping along the way. We were so sleepy to continue the journey.
UiTM Johor is located at a very nice spot. It is somehow hidden but the road signage is execllence. You will not miss the place. Spent the night there in ahouse beside the Ledang Inn.
The next day I moved to Labis. Posters and banners and flags of green and blue are everywhere. More so in the town areas. A police temporary camp is also sighted in the town where it covers a very big area. I think it is easily 4 to 5 acres big. At Segamat town, I saw water level in the river is quite high. However, a very old railway bridge reminds me of a the Death Railway bridge at Kanchanaburi, Thailand. They are almost identical. Few places was already flooded, but it didn't touch the roads.
Around noon I received a call and then rushed to Tenang Kg located in the Air Panas area. Two UM students was caught by the police distributing survey questionnaires. Took their particulars and confirmed with UM that they are really UM students.
Generally Labis and Segamat are a very interesting place to visit.
